Domestic Tours & The OHL Cup

The Ultimate Opportunity for

Development & Advancement

The goal of both the OHL Cup and WSI Domestic Tour Team offerings is to provide high-level, Tier I ‘AAA’ hockey players a short-term development experience unlike any other, one where the opportunity to be scouted and potentially advance in the sport is a byproduct of:

Through video, practice and in-game coaching, players will be physically and mentally prepared to showcase their skill sets once the puck drops.

synergy & TEAMWORK

Our coaching staff will implement an appropriate amount of structure so that our group takes on the look and feel of a TEAM as quickly as possible.

TPH is consistently one of two select U.S.-based entries invited to the OHL Cup each year.  The provincial playdowns for all of Ontario, the OHL Cup is a highly competitive, heavily scouted event that features the champions and finalists from minor hockey associations in Ontario.  With over 200 scouts in attendance from the OHL, USHL and NCAA Division I levels, the event spans over six days and takes place at the Scotiabank Pond in Toronto, Ontario in late March.

After TPH’s last three appearances at the OHL Cup, a combined 19 players were chosen by OHL clubs in its May Priority Selection draft.

"I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for giving Niles the opportunity to play for you at the OHL Cup. We couldn’t have been happier or more impressed with the entire package. Niles said the coaching was amazing and he felt like he learned a lot. The entire process was as professional and buttoned up as we’ve ever seen.  Niles would jump at the opportunity to play for all of you again if the opportunity ever arose."

"The OHL Cup was an amazing experience for me. I took away so many valuable tools during the time I spent with the coaching staff and the other players on our team. I really enjoyed meeting new people who love the sport of hockey like I do! The coaching staff was so knowledgeable and the discipline they provided was respected and appreciated. I really liked having structure. The team walks I think really helped with the bonding of the team and the film sessions were great. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to go to the OHL Cup and I would recommend it to anyone else who is contemplating going."

"The coaching staff was great and taught me many things I have been stuck on forever like looping and not stopping and starting.  It was a great experience.  I am so thankful for the opportunity.  It was a pleasure playing for TPH."

"It was an amazing experience I will remember forever. We had an amazing group and we all still talk to each other everyday. That coaching staff was some of the best I’ve ever had and the effort you guys put into us with the jackup, video and small details was awesome."

"The OHL Cup was truly a memorable experience for both of us!

Dylan can speak to his own experience but for me, this week was unexpected, outstanding on all levels and truly inspirational. I’m a believer that things in life often happen for a reason, and of course as a result of hard work and, there is no doubt in my mind that Dylan joining your TPH team this week, was meant to be.

You assembled such an extraordinary group of young men (and parents) whose passion, dedication and instantaneous camaraderie allowed them to compete at such a high level while also fostering new friendships.

Wherever Dylan’s path leads, I know that he is a better person for having had this experience with you all."
