Elite High Performance Program - Huntsville
Our elite high performance program is designed for Travel, AA, AAA hockey players. The program is rigorous and physically demanding to help players challenge themselves and other players to elevate their games to a higher-level. Our experienced first-class staff will teach you what it takes to play and succeed at the high school, junior, college and professional level. This program will provide each player with the experience of how a college hockey player trains on and off the ice. Classroom sessions will educate players on nutrition, training, opportunities in hockey, importance of academics and what it takes to get to college hockey. Camp begins on Sunday and will conclude Thursday afternoon.
This program will educate your player on what it takes on and off the ice to reach the next level. Coach Luongo and the UAH Coaching staff, along with TPH instructors from all across the US and Canada will be in attendance during this week. Players will be pushed outside of their comfort zone. Perhaps most importantly, classroom sessions will feature topics that are sure to provide players with cutting edge information and advice on how to achieve their hockey goals. Evening games will take place along with in-depth video analysis. Train like a college hockey player for the week at this high intense program that will push each player to their max!
Schedule and other Details
- Days - Sunday to Thursday
- Residents - Sun mid-afternoon to evening, Mon-Wed all day, Thur till early afternoon
- Day - Sun mid-afternoon to evening, Mon-Thur about 7:30am to about 4:30pm
- Group Divisions
- There are usually 3 groups in the elite camp
- Groups are split up by age (birth year) so that players are participating in on and off ice programs with players around their age
- Each player stays with their group throughout the day
- Ice Time
- At least 3 hours per day plus 2 night games
- Off Ice Time
- Physical Training – at least 1 hour per day
- Classroom – at least 30 minutes per day
- Video Analysis – at least 1 hour per day
- Team Building – at least 30 minutes per day
