The Mission of the TPH Prospects Programs to expose players to an Elite High Performance Training weekend ran by a professional staff, with other players in their birth year that have the passion, commitment and skill/potential to compete at the Tier I AAA level. This is coupled with a tournament weekend in Detroit where some of the top Tier I AAA competition in the nation can be found.
For Birth Years 1997, 1996
The Mission of the TPH Prospects Program is to prepare players for the USA Hockey SAHA Tryouts and the USA Hockey SE Festival Tryouts. This will help “PREPARE” your players for these critical tryout weekends by providing them with a High Performance training weekend and an elite Tier I AAA Spring Tournament. Also, for midget aged players, this tournament will expose them to many USHL, NAHL, and NCAA scouts. Guest speakers will talk about how to properly prepare leading up to tryouts, how you can best position yourself at these events and ultimately increase your chances of reaching the Blue/Grey Game and perhaps the National Festival.
TPH Spring Prospects AA Program 2012
Two weekend program for birth years 2004 to 2001
For Birth Years 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001
This year we are launching a new AA Prospects program. We are doing this in response to many players and families that participate in the Top 40 program but are not selected for the AAA Prospects program. The format for the AA Prospects program will be the same in that players will participate in one High Performance Weekend and one AA level tournament (details to follow). Note the players selected for the AA 2001 team will participate in the same weekends as the 2001 AAA Prospects teams. They will play in the 2002 AAA Division in the Detroit tournament.
TPH Top 40 Prospects Festival Program 2012
One weekend program for birth years 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001
For Birth Years 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001
The goal of the Top 40 Prospects Festival is to begin to identify Teir I AAA level players and players with the passion, desire, and committment to eventually reach this level. This program will introduce players to the TPH professional coaching staff while also allowing them to compete against other elite players in the Southeast. Our professional coaches will provide feedback on every player who participates in this event.
TPH - INNOVATION, DEDICATION, EDUCATION
Innovation – Our innovative approach to this program will provide players from the Southeast a unique training and personal development opportunity. The focus is three fold. Power skating, positional clinics and team concepts will be covered during the High Performance weekend on-ice sessions. Off-ice will include team building, team concepts and seminars.
Dedication – The entire TPH staff is dedicated to providing an elite and unique hockey experience to each of the players selected for this program. Everyone involved is committed to increasing your player’s performance on the ice and their personal growth off the ice. TPH trains players to become the student/athletes of tomorrow and stresses the importance of excellence in all aspects of player and personal development.
Education – Knowing how to properly prepare, what options are available to your player and what is the importance of the USA Hockey Player Development Camps are just a few of the key points that will be presented over the course of this program. TPH is committed to educating players and parents on opportunities in hockey and how to properly position your child to take advantage of them. To become a student/athlete is the goal for most, which means academics provide athletic opportunities and working toward that goal is a marathon.
