TPH Pre-Season Power Skating
10 session over 2 weeks
Monday September 5th- Friday September 9th
Monday September 12th - Friday September 16th
During this 2 week programs players will focus on refining their skating technique. Players will be challenged each session to push their limits and increase their power, agility, edge control and overall speed through high tempo drills. In order for a player to become a better skater they must understand, process and apply the proper techniques. This will be accomplished through small group instruction follwed by game situation drills incorporating newly taught and practiced skills. Players will cover all skating skills from edge control, balance/agility to lateral movements and high speed transition turns. Near the end of the 2 week program pucks will be incorporated into some skating drills.
All players will be tested on the first and last night of the program in order to monitor improvement over the 10 sessions.
